Your First Visit At the first visit to our office, a treatment consultation is completed. Dr. Ryan talks with you about your main concerns regarding your teeth, any dentist concerns, and any pertinent medical/dental history concerns. She uses a mirror to look at your teeth and bite, then she discusses any recommendations that she has as well as when the best time would be to proceed with orthodontic treatment. If treatment is recommended, the treatment coordinator will then discuss appointments necessary to get started and the financials regarding treatment costs. Records Diagnostic records are made at the second visit. Records are used to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include plaster study models of your teeth, photos of your face and teeth, as well as X-rays. This information is then used to develop a custom treatment plan for you. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move while under orthodontic care.

Regular Appointments The appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expander, etc.) usually takes from one and a half to two hours. You'll then see us at regular intervals every 6 to 8 weeks for an adjustment, which takes 15 to 30 minutes. Our regular office hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. Patients are seen by appointment only.

We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. Please cancel only if it is an emergency. It is sometimes difficult to reschedule you since most appointments are made 6 to 8 weeks in advance. Payment & Office Policies Cost
